The C-10X is equipped with our new “LIFES” amplifier feedback engine and the latest version of our original electronically controlled attenuator, “LECUA-EX”, technologies developed to lead LUXMAN into our next century. Fully-balanced audio pathways are directly connected throughout the three-dimensional structure, achieving infinite silence, overwhelming instantaneous power, and a true sense of realism. This is the birth of the C-10X control amplifier, heralding a new era of pure musical reproduction.
Luxman M-10X Stereo/Mono Power Amplifier
The M-10x is our flagship stereo/mono power amplifier designed to replace the long-running M-900u, first released in 2013. Years in development, M-10x becomes a premier model in our next-generation line up to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Luxman’s founding in 1925.
Superbly crafted and with most outstanding sound quality, the M-10x is destined to satisfy audiophiles and music lover’s with its almost limitless loudspeaker drive capability.
Original Luxman amplifier design hallmarks, such as ODNF circuitry were carefully analysed and then further evolved through extensive computer simulations to achieve a radical improvement in audio performance. Only after repeated new circuit components auditioning and prototype listening tests were the results judged suitable for adoption as “LIFES1.0” in Luxman’s new M-10x.
ProAc K6 Floorstanding Loudspeakers - Cherry (Allow 2-3 weeks for a delivery)
Following the successful incorporation of carbon fibre cone technology in the Carbon Pro Series, ProAc have been researching other materials for possible inclusion in their high end loudspeakers. The results of this research have come to fruition in the shape of the new K series which utilises cones manufactured from the material, Kevlar.
Kevlar benefits from having similar properties to carbon fibre, being light and at the same time rigid. The ProAc 6 1/2” drivers utilised in the K6 feature Kevlar cones made by the same special method as our carbon fibre coned drive units; the cone is painstakingly produced from a mould by hand, a labour intensive process taking many hours to complete.
Although Kevlar has proven to be an excellent cone material sonically, the Kevlar ProAc bass drivers require a different porting mechanism in order to realise their full potential. The bass is loaded by an almost invisible vent to produce a wonderfully weighty but exceptionally fast bass response. These drivers are seamlessly crossed over to a 2” dome midrange, the horn of which is manufactured from billet aluminium and for the high frequencies, ProAc’s proven ribbon tweeter has been chosen.
